Summer is almost here and temperatures will soon be on the rise. So will the risk of wildfires in California. Join us for an in-person seminar to help you prepare your employees for these conditions. These seminars are available in Santa Maria (April 30) and Oxnard (May 28), in English and Spanish at both locations.
We’ll review the employer requirements, prepare you to protect your workers from heat, and provide an overview on the wildfire smoke protection.
We will cover
- Signs and symptoms of heat illness and the requirements of first aid/emergency response
- Cal/OSHA’s Heat Illness Prevention Standard, T8CCR Section 3395
- What Cal/OSHA requires employers to include in their written Heat Illness Prevention Plan
- Common Cal/OSHA citations related to working outdoors in the heat
- Overview on the wildfire smoke protection regulation and how it affects workers
Our seminars are free and open to all California employers and insurance brokers. Each features a 90-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session.
