Cal/OSHA 101: What Employers Need to Know

In partnership with Cal/OSHA, we invite you to attend this in-person seminar and find out more about Cal/OSHA and the services it offers to help you keep your workplace safe.

Inspector documenting findings in a workplace safety review

We'll help you understand the difference between Cal/OSHA's consultation and enforcement units. By the end of the seminar, you’ll better understand how the two affect your employees and workplace, how to avoid citations, and how Cal/OSHA Consultation and State Fund's Safety and Health Services help support your safety program.

You will learn:

  • The purpose of Cal/OSHA’s enforcement and consultation units
  • What you need for a Cal/OSHA inspection
  • How and when to report a workplace accident, including the forms you need to fill out
  • How to find regulations that affect you, changes to existing regulations, and proposed new regulations
  • The benefits of following regulations (e.g. how that helps reduce injuries, and how that helps reduce costs)
