If you have employees who handle or come in contact with pesticides, they are required to be properly trained on an annual basis. This can often be a challenge for employers. We can help. We’re offering a pesticide instructor training course that, upon completion, qualifies participants to train fieldworkers and pesticide handlers.
This Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR)-approved Train the Trainer course is free of charge, open to all California employers. By sending just one of your employees to this workshop, you are opening the door for all of your employees to be properly trained at any time.
Who should attend
Farm supervisors, labor contractors, safety managers, or anyone who will be training employees on pesticide safety. Space is limited to 25 participants per course, so choose your location and reserve your spot soon.

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) governs pesticide use in agricultural operations and classifies pesticides as “general” or “restricted” use. Workers must be certified to buy, use, or supervise the use of restricted pesticides.
