Ergonomics Consultant, MS, OT, CIE

Benita is an ergonomics consultant for State Fund. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of Illinois at Chicago and a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Rush University. She worked as an occupational therapist for over 6 years treating patients with injuries to develop, recover, improve, and maintain skill needed for daily living and working. Then she transitioned into ergonomics, as a Certified Industrial Ergonomist, helping people in the workplace preventing injuries for employees and reducing worker’s compensation costs for employers over the last 15 years.
