Publications Safety Engineer, Cal/OSHA Communications and Outreach

Ruben is an Associate Safety Engineer (ASE) for Cal/OSHA’s Communications and Outreach Program. He joined Cal/OSHA in 2021 as an Associate Industrial Hygienist with the Enforcement Unit, where he conducted health and safety inspections. As a bilingual ASE Ruben has assisted within the Enforcement Unit with outdoor heat inspections, the Publications Unit, and with Alliance Program public outreach events. He looks forward to working more with the Professional Development and Training Unit, public outreach, and creating more pathways to resources for Cal/OSHA, employers and workers in California.
