Cal/OSHA Safe Patient Handling Regulation Video
On October 1, 2014, Cal/OSHA put into effect a new regulation requiring acute care facilities to create and implement a Safe Patient Handling Plan. This regulation, General Industry Safety Orders §5120, is the enforcement of the law AB 1136 which passed in 2012.
